There are very few theoretical and design practice studies on the importance of the impact of institutional culture and urban culture objects in Turkey. Likewise, University-Industry cooperation is still a phenomenon whose importance is not emphasized enough. The project, titled “Cultural Objects Design Strategy and an Application”, aimed to produce cultural objects with unique value in cooperation with Yaşar University, Faculty of Art and Design academic staff and students.
In project scope; In line with the findings obtained from the theoretical, market and field studies, objects that adopt the “five values” of Yaşar University and aim at the sustainability of the gift culture experience were designed and the infrastructure of a branding study was created by creating the “Hediye Yaşar” brand.
Common design tools of product design and graphic design disciplines; Objects designed with function, material, production style, visual perception and aesthetic elements; consists of daily and high-end souvenirs for the university’s user base. Some of the prototypes of the designs were produced by the Industrial Design Department’s prototype workshop facilities. Other outputs of the project together with the prototypes; two articles*/** and a radio show***.
